Projects Signed and Center Established! Beauty and Wellness Industry Accelerates Its Rise in TEDA

On November 11, the 2nd “Bohai Beauty Bay” Industrial Innovation and Development Conference was held in TEDA. During the conference, five enterprises, including Tianjin JenKem Technology Co., Ltd. and Bloomage Biotech (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., etc., signed letters of intent for cooperation with TEDA, marking the concentrated signing and landing of a batch of key projects. Additionally, the Bohai Beauty Bay Industrial Development Promotion Center was inaugurated. This conference signifies that the Bohai Beauty Bay has entered a new phase of development characterized by deep integration and collaborative development among government, industry, academia, research, and medical sectors.

According to the letters of intent, JenKem Technology will establish an industrialization base for its medical aesthetics business in TEDA and collaborate with the zone to build a distinctive “Bohai Beauty Bay” park. Bloomage Biotech will jointly promote the construction of the Tianjin Industrialization Base for the National Center of Technology Innovation for Synthetic Biology with TEDA, aiming to establish a fully integrated collaborative innovation mechanism covering R&D, pilot scale testing, and industrialization. IMEiK will deploy operations related to its two core high-end skincare brands, H.T LAB and HEARTY, in the development zone. GenSci will put its cosmetic new ingredient business in TEDA, with plans to gradually expand into medical aesthetics medical devices, and other fields. Joystar will deploy its “Dual Beauty Institution” supply chain project in the zone.

During the conference, the Bohai Beauty Bay Industrial Development Promotion Center, the entity responsible for the brick-and-mortar operation of the “Bohai Beauty Bay” industrial alliance, was officially unveiled. The center will assist enterprises in accessing industrial policies, clarifying development directions, building an industry information sharing platform, fostering industrial cooperation bridges, conducting professional skills training, and strengthening brand operations and public services, thereby providing comprehensive support for the regional beauty and wellness industry.
