Gurit Global R&D Center for Advanced Composite Materials Established in TEDA

On November 17, the TEDA Administrative Commission and Gurit Holding AG of Switzerland jointly held an unveiling ceremony for the Gurit Global R&D Center for Advanced Composite Materials. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as industrial chain collaboration and joint technological innovation, reaching multiple consensus points for cooperation.

The establishment of this R&D center represents a key strategic move by Gurit Group to strengthen its end-to-end value chain from  R&D–production and reflects its firm confidence in long-term investment in the Chinese market. According to the plan, the center is expected to officially commence operations by the end of 2025. It will focus on core technology research and development for next-generation high-performance composite materials, serving as the core engine for the global product line iteration and innovation of the Gurit Group.
