Nangang Green High-End Rubber Project of Yanshan Petrochemical Fully Launched

On November 14, Sinopec Yanshan Petrochemical Company and the TEDA Administrative Commission signed the Letter of Intent on Investment Cooperation, marking the full commencement of the implementation phase for the Green High-End Rubber & New Materials Project of Yanshan Petrochemical in Tianjin Nangang .

With a total investment of approximately 6 billion yuan, the project is positioned as green and high-end and will be carried out in two phases. The first phase plans to invest 2.42 billion yuan to build two production units: one with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) and another with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of butadiene rubber (BR), along with supporting auxiliary facilities. The second phase is intended to develop distinctive and competitive projects of Yanshan Petrochemical. Upon completion, the project will further strengthen the regional rubber industry chain, precisely meeting the demand for high-quality raw materials in the premium tire market.
