TEDA-Based Atom Robotics Unveils Next-Generation Humanoid Robot
Tianjin Atom Robotics Co., Ltd., a company based in TEDA, recently launched its self-developed, upgraded humanoid robot, "Tianbing-1 ATOM01." This robot achieves breakthroughs in key technologies such as motion control, environmental perception, and interactive intelligence.

ATOM01 features a 7-degree-of-freedom bionic dual-arm design, replicating the dexterity of the human upper limbs. Through the intelligent coordinated control of 27 degrees of freedom across its entire body, it can adapt to various material-handling scenarios, ranging from precision electronic components to heavy automotive parts. The end-of-arm tooling supports plug-and-play functionality, allowing it to switch from a heavy-duty gripper to a precision dexterous hand in seconds, effortlessly accomplishing diverse tasks. Furthermore, ATOM01 boasts industry-leading "environmental comprehension." Through a brain-like real-time fusion algorithm, it constructs centimeter-level maps in complex and dynamic environments, enabling fully autonomous, high-safety intelligent navigation and dynamic obstacle avoidance. Additionally, ATOM01 serves as a highly versatile intelligent automation platform, capable of rapid redeployment and reuse across different production lines and tasks by swapping end tools and software skill packages.

Founded in 2013, Tianjin Atom Robotics Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise and a national-level specialized and innovative "little giant" company. The company focuses on the research, development, and innovation of high-speed parallel robots, SCARA robots, collaborative palletizing robots, and core technologies such as controllers, integrated drive-control systems, and vision systems. It has established a fully self-developed "AI + high-speed robotics" technology platform, providing high-performance robot products and intelligent solutions to over 800 large-scale enterprises worldwide, with operations spanning more than 20 countries and regions.
