OTIS’s First Intelligent Elevator Testing Center in China Settles down in TEDA

On September 13th, Zhong Ao Intelligence Technological Development Co., Ltd.(OTDC) held the opening ceremony in TEDA. The company is the first intelligent elevator testing center invested by OTIS Elevator (China) Investment Co., Ltd. in China. As the leading enterprise in elevator industry worldwide, OTIS Elevator settled down in TEDA in 1998. So far, it has been Group’s largest production base, and the first green factory certified by LEED Gold in China.

TEDA has always led high-end, intelligent and green manufacturing, and supported enterprises’ digital renovation and new technology promotion. In the first half of this year, the industrial scale of in TEDA improved steadily: the output value of equipment manufacturing industry was 35.71 billion yuan, up 30.8% year-on-year; investment in high-tech manufacturing industry increased by 0.8 times, and its added value increased by 26.4%.
