OTIS’s 1st Intelligent Elevator Testing Center in China Launches in TEDA

The Inspection and Testing Institution Approval Certificate of Special Equipment of Zhong Ao Intelligence Technological Development Co., Ltd. (OTDC) was issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation recently, marking the full operation of OTDC kicks off. The enterprise is the only elevator manufacturer’s wholly-funded third-party elevator testing company.

Established in TEDA in September 2021, OTDC is the first intelligent elevator testing center invested by OTIS Elevator (China) Investment in China. The company plans to provide professional technological services including elevator testing, elevator safety assessment, maintenance quality supervision and the development and application of IoTs solution. The just-approved certificate will further help OTDC to be the new driver of Otis’ new format, and provide excellent testing service for the whole country to meet the needs of different clients.
