Grammer Interiors Tianjin Production Base Project to Start Production

The Grammer Vehicle Interiors Tianjin Production Base project has recently completed its plant construction. Currently, various tasks for the installation of production line equipment have been initiated. Located in TEDA East, this project has a total investment exceeding 120 million RMB. The primary construction includes a pre-foaming workshop, a stamping and welding workshop, an assembly workshop, a logistics workshop, and office areas. Once operational, it will become one of the most important production and R&D bases of the Grammer Group in China, contributing to the further improvement of the automotive industry chain and the localization of automotive parts in TEDA.

Grammer AG is a world-renowned multinational company specializing in commercial vehicle seats and passenger car interiors. As early as 2004, it established a wholly foreign-owned company in TEDA to produce commercial vehicle driver seats, electric control armrests and other products. With the rapid development of the company’s business, the Grammer Group decided to build a new production and R&D base in TEDA to further expand its production capacity and meet the needs of its growing business.
