Tianjin to Hold Int'l Shipping Industry Expo 2024

July 11, 2024 is the 20th China Maritime Day. In order to further promote the construction of world-class green and smart hub ports, create the largest and most influential industry event and cooperation exchange platform in the shipping industry in China and even the world, and better showcase the development achievements of China’s shipping industry and the future development direction of the global shipping industry, the 2024 Tianjin International Shipping Industry Expo will be held from July 10 to 13, 2024, at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Tianjin) in conjunction with the 20th China Navigation Day event. Through high-end forums, grand exhibitions, achievement releases, professional conferences, and exhibition exchanges, the expo aims to assist Tianjin in building a domestic and international dual circulation strategic pivot.

The total exhibition area of the exhibition is 50000 square meters, with seven exhibition areas set up. More than 400 leading shipping companies, listed companies, and world-renowned ports from 22 countries and regions participated in the exhibition. A total of 60000 professional visitors were attracted to visit and negotiate on site, with fruitful results.

Shipping is an important foundation for economic and social development, as well as an important bridge and link for international trade. According to data from the International Maritime Organization, the shipping industry accounts for over 80% of global trade.
