Visa Free Policy Make it Easier to Travel in Tianjin
Tianjin is welcoming increasing inbound tourism. As one of the port cities implementing the 144-hour visa-free policy, Tianjin has launched a number of customs clearance facilitation initiatives, and kept optimizing services, so that foreigners can experience the convenience and beauty of China’s travel in the first station of entry.
Tianjin is one of the pilot areas of the international trade “single window” cruise passenger information declaration system. In the first half of this year, Tianjin ports have accumulated nearly 230,000 people checking cruise entry and exit (port), nearly 100 cruise ships, a total of more than 8,000 foreign tourists from France, Russia, the United States and other nearly 80 countries visited Tianjin. In order to better serve the tourists, Tianjin Dongjiang Border Inspection Station strictly implemented “144-hour visa-free transit in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region”, “24-hour visa-free transit” and other customs facilitation initiatives for transit and transfer tourists. Advance examination, sea processing and additional temporary processing window and other measures were taken to create a good environment for the tourists.
The Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism launched a 144-hour “Beautiful Tianjin Experience” and the “Tianjin Travel” route, including the Romantic Encounter Tour, the Funny City Tour and the Ocean Exploration Tour. Many restaurants in Tianjin have prepared English version of menus, ordering guides, and map guides for the convenience of foreign tourists. In addition, “Tianjin Overseas Planet” will soon be online, which will share more route tips, introduce popular attractions and recommend service packages for overseas tourists.
