SEW Smart Assembly Center Put into Operation in TEDA
The Smart Assembly Center of TEDA enterprise SEW-EURODRIVE (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. was put into operation. The project covers nearly 60,000 square meters and a total construction area of 75,000 square meters and receives a RMB 1 billion investment. The center leverages SEW’s most advanced core technologies of smart logistics, including SEW’s new-gene series products of MOVI-C?, PES energy management solutions, and SEW’s self-designed and self-developed AGVs, to build SEW China’s smart manufacturing demo plant. The center will continue to introduce the most advanced German smart manufacturing electronic products for localized production, providing systematic solutions for the industrial upgrading of China’s smart equipment manufacturing industry.
Founded in 1931, SEW-EURODRIVE specializes in the production of electric motors, gearmotors, and frequency inverters as well as accessories, and has mastered core technologies of Germany’s Industry 4.0, the applications of smart manufacturing. SEW-EURODRIVE (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., SEW-EURODRIVE’s Chinese company, was established in TEDA in 1994 and has developed into the Chinese headquarters of SEW-EURODRIVE. Leveraging the advanced technologies of the German headquarters in recent years, SEW China has continued to promote the R&D of new products to provide the Chinese market with the key technologies and products of Germany’s Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing.
