SSTPC’s Project to Be Put into Use This Year

The 260,000 ton per year polycarbonate project of SINOPEC SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (SSTPC) will finish and prepare for production, which is expected to be put into production in December this year. The large-scale full-process high-end new material project of polycarbonates jointly built by Sinopec and SABIC has a total investment of about 10.1 billion yuan, and the commissioning of the project will effectively promote the upgrading of petrochemical industry in TEDA.

Located in Nangang Industrial Zone, SSTPC is a mega-size petrochemical enterprise jointly invested by SINOPEC and SABIC. The company has 9 sets of main production units with advanced technology and world-class scale, equipped with utility engineering and auxiliary facilities. The products are chemicals, functional chemicals and polymer products.
