TEDA-based Enterprise Leads Nation's First Full-Process COPD Management Program

Recently, China's first whole-process management program for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) was launched in Tianjin. Led by Orange Heart Digital Therapy (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., the program uses a vertical AI model, and fully empowers family doctor contracted services. Leveraging on the Respiratory Chronic Disease Digital Therapy Center in Tianjin, the program deeply integrates a specialized AI diagnostic and therapeutic large model for respiratory chronic diseases into the whole-process management of COPD patients by family doctors. It focuses on three key aspects: assisted diagnosis and treatment, personalized treatment recommendations, and risk early warning. To date, the program has completed high-risk screening for over 40,000 individuals for COPD in Tianjin and provided whole-process digital management services for more than 600 confirmed patients. This initiative has not only solved many challenges in traditional grassroots COPD management, but also provided a new pathway for promoting high-quality development of family doctor contracted services nationwide. It offers a new approach by integrating prevention, treatment, management, and rehabilitation for chronic diseases.
