Anchoring Major Projects, TEDA Presses Accelerator on Development

As the Spring Festival holiday concluded, TEDA is going all out to advance projects and boost production, pressing the accelerator on development. Many enterprises achieved full production right upon resumption of operation.

PPG Coatings (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. has seen its export orders in the first quarter of this year increase by over 10% compared to the same period last year. The orders primarily come from overseas production bases newly built by domestic new energy vehicle companies. The factory achieved full production on the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday.

The five production lines of Charoen Pokphand Premix (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. are also operating at full capacity, with products set to be shipped to over 2,000 farms nationwide. This year, the company plans to invest in building a new R&D and innovation center to further strengthen its presence in Tianjin. "Tianjin has comprehensive advantages in transportation, port facilities, and complete resource support, which are very beneficial for the investments of our group across various industries," said Liu Tai, the company's General Manager. 

Moreover, Tianjin TEDA Energy Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed and launched its first fully market-oriented commercial photovoltaic project, successfully entering a new track of market competition.

This year, TEDA has included 45 projects in the municipal key projects, with a total investment of approximately 117 billion yuan. TEDA will fully leverage the leading role of flagship projects to vigorously promote investment attraction and project construction. The focus will be on facilitating the implementation of nearly 30 key projects under negotiation, such as Asymchem's high-end drug research and development and industrialization project. It will also ensure the commissioning or operational launch of over 40 key projects, including the new models of Great Wall Motor’s One Platform, the Intelligent Connected Vehicle R&D Center of Great Wall Motor, FAW-Volkswagen’s new models, HBP, and Phase I of Jiemei Electronic Technology. Additionally, TEDA will accelerate the construction of more than 50 key projects, including SEW Intelligent Manufacturing Phase II, NHU, and Sinopec Beijing Yanshan Company.
