Botian-Farizon Used Vehicle Remanufacturing Project Making Debut of Its First Commercial Vehicle

03-31-2026

On March 27, a product launch event for the Botian-Farizon Used Vehicle Remanufacturing Industry Demostration Park was held in TEDA. During the event, Zhongbo (Tianjin) Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. signed strategic cooperation agreements with project distributors, suppliers, and a customs broker. The event showcased the latest R&D results, including samples of remanufactured used vehicle and  heavy-duty truck. This marks the debut of a complete remanufactured commercial vehicle following the project’s signing in 2025, signifying its transition from the resource integration to output and market activities.

The project is planned to cover approximately 170 mu (113,333 square meters) with a total investment of 630 million yuan. It will integrate functions such as production, testing, warehousing, and logistics. Through vehicle restoration, disassembly, and remanufacturing, as well as the renewal of core components including power batteries, drive motors, and electronic control systems, the project aims to create a closed-loop full-industry chain. Construction is expected to begin in the second half of this year. Once fully completed, the project will have an annual production capacity of up to 10,000 vehicles, making it the largest used vehicle remanufacturing project in North China.

"TEDA boasts a comprehensive automotive industry ecosystem, bringing together a complete industrial chain from vehicle manufacturing to component support, with a strong industrial foundation. Additionally, the project site is adjacent to Tianjin Port, which significantly reduces international logistics costs for enterprises, creating a powerful location competitive advantage," said Zheng Zuochao, Deputy General Manager of ZTE Technology (Tianjin) Smart City Operation Service Co., Ltd.

The project focuses on countries along the Belt and Road, with key export markets in Tanzania, Nigeria, and Zambia in Africa, as well as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in Central Asia. It has established strategic partnerships with high-quality distributors in multiple target markets. Leveraging policy advantages, the project will provide cost-effective commercial vehicle products to countries along the route, promote the global reach of China’s commercial vehicle remanufacturing technologies and standards, and help build a Belt and Road commercial vehicle circular economy corridor.
