Waller RVs Expand Global Footprint from TEDA

Equipped with living quarters, bathing facilities, and off-road capabilities, rugged off-road RVs manufactured in TEDA have successfully entered the international market via local ports. This month, TEDA-based enterprise Waller Automobile began shipping its first batch of 100 RVs to destinations including Oman and Kyrgyzstan, with 40 units already delivered.

Off-road RVs are compact recreational vehicles under 5.9 meters in length and over 1.75 meters in height, featuring fully integrated bedrooms and bathrooms. Industry data shows that approximately 11% of households in Europe and North America own RVs, indicating significant international market demand.

In China, off-road RVs are classified as special vehicles, and production is restricted to enterprises authorized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Waller (Tianjin) Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a leader in this sector. Holding multiple core patents, including circuit integration technology, the Company consistently ranks among the top three in domestic sales for small RVs. Attracted by the robust automotive industrial base and port logistics advantages of TEDA, the Company relocated from Beijing to TEDA in 2021.

As an authorized partner for brands such as Ford, Dongfeng Nissan, and Jeep, Waller Automobile integrates essential living amenities into base vehicle models while optimizing water and power systems. This year, the Company has established overseas sales networks and after-sales service systems in over 10 countries and regions across Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Having secured the Ministry of Commerce’s qualification for RV exports, Waller is prioritizing overseas market expansion, with projected exports exceeding 800 units in the second quarter alone.
