Construction Begins on New Asymchem Project in TEDA

On June 9, construction officially commenced on Asymchem’s Chemical Macromolecule Innovative Drug CDMO R&D and Production Integration Project following the issuance of its construction permit. Located at the Nucleic Acid Pharmaceutical Industry Park in the West Zone of TEDA, the Project represents a total investment of approximately RMB 2 billion, and will focus on frontier biopharmaceutical sectors such as peptides and oligonucleotides, aiming to establish a specialized and integrated R&D and production base for innovative drug CDMO services.
As a global leader and technology-driven provider of one-stop CDMO services, Asymchem has continuously expanded its presence in the chemical macromolecule sector in recent years. In 2025, the Company reported an annual revenue of RMB 6.67 billion, with the chemical macromolecule CDMO segment contributing RMB 1.028 billion. Technologically, Asymchem has achieved significant innovations in the TIDES field, including the application of enzymatic ligation, Tag-assisted liquid-phase synthesis, continuous multi-column countercurrent solvent gradient purification, process analytical technology (PAT), and continuous cleavage processes. Regarding production capacity, the Company is steadily increasing its output for solid-phase peptide synthesis and oligonucleotides, while simultaneously building formulation workshops and pre-filled syringe production lines to establish an integrated supply system for both active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished drug products. The construction of this new project will further facilitate the journey of innovative therapies like peptides and oligonucleotides from the laboratory to the global market.
