Novo Nordisk to Expand Innovative Drug Production Lines in TEDA

On June 15, during a visit to China by its global executive team, Novo Nordisk announced an additional investment of RMB 200 million in its strategic production base in TEDA to expand the assembly and production capacity of its 1.5ml FlexTouch® pens. As a significant innovation in Novo Nordisk's R&D history, the FlexTouch® pen is an efficient and ergonomic device suitable for patients of all ages, which is designed to significantly enhance the medication experience and improve treatment adherence.
Headquartered in Denmark, Novo Nordisk is a leading global biopharmaceutical company serving approximately 170 countries and regions. As a key strategic production hub, its Tianjin plant supplies injection devices and finished products to both China and international markets.
