RMB 1.1 Billion Investment: GreenPine Pharmaceutical Production Base Officially Commences Operations in TEDA

On June 14, the first high-end preparation production line and the patent drug production line at the GreenPine (Tianjin) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. base in TEDA officially commenced their operations. With a total investment of approximately RMB 1.1 billion, the project is set to achieve a dual upgrade in both R&D and production, significantly enhancing the international competitiveness of its products and fueling the growth of the regional biomedical industry.

GreenPine (Tianjin) Pharmaceutical is a key R&D and production arm of GreenPine Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. Its newly commissioned production base consists of two major projects: the High-End Preparation Smart Factory and the Patent Medicine Production Center. The Smart Factory features an EU GMP-compliant pilot workshop, a raw materials and excipients workshop, and R&D laboratories, and is equipped with four powder-liquid dual-chamber bag production lines primarily for ready-to-use carbapenem products. At present, the first powder-liquid dual-chamber bag production line has been commissioned, producing carbapenem products that have attained internationally advanced standards.

The Patent Medicine Production Center focuses on the localization of originator drugs and features four planned intelligent production lines. Currently, the production line for Alfacalcidol drops has been completed, with market approval expected between 2027 and 2028 and an annual capacity of 10 million bottles per variety. Strictly adhering to European standards, the project has introduced high-end intelligent equipment—including automated liquid preparation systems and integrated washing, drying, and filling lines—coupled with a digital management platform to significantly boost operational efficiency. Furthermore, it leverages green manufacturing processes to harmonize high-quality production with sustainable development.
