Humanoid Robot Leader UBTECH Joins in TEDA

On June 22, the TEDA Administrative Commission and UBTECH ROBOTICS CORP LTD. officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to put several core projects in TEDA, including the Northern Intelligent Manufacturing Base for Simulated Humanoid Robots, the Embodied AI Industry Innovation Center, the Robot Operation and Maintenance Service Center, and a Secondary Development Platform. The purpose is to effectively extend, supplement, and strengthen the local robotics industry chain and bolster the regional embodied AI industrial cluster.

Upon landing in TEDA, UBTECH will establish a full-chain industrial development system encompassing R&D, production, O&M, and customized development. The Humanoid Robot Intelligent Manufacturing Base will feature a professional assembly line to achieve localized and large-scale mass production. The Embodied AI Industry Innovation Center will focus on building a professional data collection platform to empower the iterative upgrading of embodied AI algorithms. The Robot Operation and Maintenance Service Center will develop a comprehensive maintenance system, while the Secondary Development Platform will engage deeply with characteristic application scenarios in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, such as automotive manufacturing, park inspection, and port operations, to provide customized hardware and software development and scenario-based adaptations.
