Nordic Hydraulics Giant Inaugurates New Factory in TEDA

On July 8, the grand opening ceremony of HydraSpecma Tianjin new factory was held in the West Zone of TEDA. With a total investment of RMB 100 million, the project will introduce advanced processes and quality control standards from its Danish headquarters to fill the domestic gap in high-end hydraulic technology and enhance the localized supply of key components. Upon reaching full operation, the base is expected to generate an annual production value exceeding RMB 700 million and will serve as HydraSpecma’s China headquarters—integrating R&D, manufacturing, and sales—to further refine TEDA’s wind power industrial chain and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the sector across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

HydraSpecma Group, based in Denmark, is a Nordic leader in hydraulic systems and a globally renowned multinational specializing in hydraulics and industrial components with over a century of industry expertise. The TEDA factory primarily manufactures hydraulic, lubrication, and cooling systems for wind turbines, alongside fluid pipelines, hydraulic accessories, and industrial components, providing essential supporting products for prominent domestic and international companies such as Vestas, GE, ZF, Siemens Gamesa, and Shanghai Electric.

Morten Kjær, CEO of HydraSpecma Group, stated that China remains the world’s most dynamic market. He expressed the group’s strong confidence in deepening its presence in the Chinese market, citing TEDA’s premium business environment and comprehensive industrial infrastructure. The opening of the Tianjin new factory will bring advanced European technologies to the region, integrating them deeply with Chinese market demand. It will not only accelerate product iteration and upgrades but also strongly drive the collaborative development of the industrial chain across the Asia-Pacific region.
