During the recent Pakistan-China B2B Investment Conference, CanSino Biologics Inc. reached an intent of cooperation with its Pakistani partner, AGP Limited, regarding the 13-valent Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine (PCV13i), under which both parties will further explore future development opportunities for the vaccine in Pakistan.

In 2021, the first batch of finished CanSinoBIO COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. Later that year, the National Institute of Health (NIH) of Pakistan officially released locally filled CanSinoBIO COVID-19 vaccines, marking Pakistan's first-ever localized production of COVID-19 vaccines.
