TEDA and CASAM Sign Memorandum of Cooperation for Pilot and Lab-to-Market Center of Green New Materials

Recently, TEDA signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Chinese Academy of Sciences Advanced Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (CASAM) to co-build a Pilot and Lab-to-Market Center for Green New Materials. As a key measure for TEDA to continuously align with high-quality scientific and technological innovation resources, address shortfalls in new material pilot scale-up, and foster new quality productive forces, this cooperation will help to build a full-chain development framework at a faster pace covering "source innovation, pilot maturation, and industrial landing" in the regional green new materials sector.
CASAM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese Academy of Sciences Holdings Co., Ltd., serving as the sole technology transfer and transformation platform in the field of chemical new materials under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), as well as a resource sharing platform of the new material industry and lab-to-market service base of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This partnership with a prominent national-level platform for scientific and technological innovation marks a new milestone in the collaboration between academy and local resources in TEDA.
Looking ahead, with the Nangang Technological Innovation Center as the core carrier, the two sides will explore pilot development models and develop a professional, replicable green new material pilot service ecosystem.Focusing on breakthroughs in core technologies, they will jointly enhance regional capabilities in pilot R&D, achievement maturation, industrial incubation, and technical spillover, accelerating the engineering application and industrialization of a batch of high-quality green new material technologies.
