Bohai Bay of Beauty JenKem Technology Health Park Breaks Ground in TEDA

On August 18, a commencement ceremony for the Bohai Bay of Beauty JenKem Technology Health Park Project was held in TEDA, marking the official groundbreaking of another key project in the region's beauty and health sector. Invested in and constructed by Beijing JenKem Technology Co., Ltd., a STAR Market-listed company, with a total investment of approximately RMB 315 million and a total gross floor area of around 30,000 square meters, the park plans to house several newly developed products, including JenKem's PEGylated sodium hyaluronate gel for injection.

As a leader in medical-grade polyethylene glycol (PEG) materials, JenKem Technology is extending its business from raw material supply to high-end medical aesthetics and health products through this project, while partnering with the TEDA Administrative Commission to co-build a 12,500-square-meter professional incubation platform dedicated to introducing high-end medical aesthetic materials, devices, and biopharmaceutical projects, with several high-quality projects already lined up. The park's launch will further promote the perfection and upgrading of the regional medical aesthetics industry chain, accelerate industrial clustering, and inject fresh momentum into the high-quality development of Tianjin's beauty and health industry.

In recent years, leveraging their profound foundation in biomedicine, Tianjin, Binhai New Area, and TEDA have seized opportunities in the beauty and health sector, focusing on raw materials, devices, and functional skincare to promote the two-way empowerment of medicine and beauty economy, striving to build the distinctive brand of "Bohai Bay of Beauty". In 2025, the Bohai Bay of Beauty Industrial Development Promotion Center was inaugurated in TEDA, with five enterprises signing to move in, namely JenKem Technology, Bloomage Biotech, Imeik, GeneScience Pharmaceuticals, and Jiashitang. It establishes the development path of "parallel development of medical and everyday aesthetics, integration of cosmetics and medical devices", and gradually shaping a diverse industrial ecosystem. The launch of the Bohai Bay of Beauty JenKem Technology Health Park marks not only a vital step in the construction of the Bohai Bay of Beauty, but also a major milestone demonstrating the profound strength and flourishing growth of the industrial ecosystem.
