TEDA Enterprise Issues Inspection Certificate for China's First Offshore Energy Storage Device

Recently, the Tianjin Branch of China Classification Society (CCS), located in TEDA, successfully issued the offshore facility product inspection certificate for the China's first offshore energy storage device. The energy storage device is slated for deployment on the Lufeng 14-4DPP platform to support "Haiyou Anlan", the world's first 16-megawatt tension-leg floating offshore wind power platform, marking the maiden application of a large-scale energy storage device on an offshore oil and gas production platform.
As a national-level ship inspection branch rooted in TEDA, the CCS Tianjin Branch has long built a robust safety shield for the Bohai Rim marine industry. In executing this inspection assignment, the branch also systematically explored and summarized inspection techniques for offshore energy storage facilities and related equipment, establishing replicable and scalable inspection practices.
The issuance of this certificate strongly demonstrates TEDA's strong foundation in marine engineering technical services, building a robust technological barrier for the high-quality development of the regional marine industry.
