Unitree Robotics Sets Up Tianjin Subsidiary in TEDA

Recently, Tianjin Yutian Technology Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unitree Robotics Co., Ltd., was officially registered in TEDA, marking a substantive phase in Unitree Robotics' strategic expansion across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. As the new company established, Unitree Robotics will bring its products and operations to Tianjin and deploy intelligent robot applications in scenarios such as ports, petroleum and petrochemicals, and manufacturing. The company will build a comprehensive industrial innovation platform integrating R&D innovation, achievement transformation, scenario adaptation, talent cultivation, and maintenance services, thereby accelerating the transition of cutting-edge technologies from laboratories to production lines.
As a leading domestic enterprise in embodied intelligence and humanoid robots, Unitree Robotics shipped over 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025, ranking first globally. With approximately 40% to 50% of the company's sales revenue coming from exports, the geophraphic and policy advantages of Tianjin Port will provide robust support for its global business expansion. "We chose Tianjin not only for the convenience of port exports, but also for its rich industrial application scenarios," said Chen Li, co-founder of Unitree Robotics, when talking about the reasons of choosing TEDA.
Currently, TEDA has brought together a host of benchmark enterprises in specialized fields, including Deepinfar, Atomrobot, Lonyu Robot, Wybotics, and i-Kingtec, with the embodied intelligence-related industry scale reaching nearly RMB 13 billion. After landing in TEDA, the company will effectively drive collaborative development across both upstream and downstream sectors of the industrial chain, accelerating localized support for key components, operating systems, and data sets.
