UBTECH Sets up Tianjin Subsidiary in TEDA

Recently, Tianjin UBTECH Robot Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen UBTECH Robotics Corp., Ltd., was officially registered and established in TEDA. Following its establishment, UBTECH will build three major facilities in TEDA: the Intelligent Manufacturing Base for Simulated Humanoid Robots, the Embodied AI Industry Ecosystem Innovation Center, and the Robot 6S Flagship Operation Platform. Upon completion, the project will integrate full-chain functions of embodied intelligence, including intelligent manufacturing, data collection, industrial education, secondary development, and talent training. This further drives the clustering of upstream and downstream enterprises in key components, maintenance services, and data collection within the embodied intelligence sector in TEDA, thereby helping the region seize a leading position in the new track of future industries.

As the world's first publicly listed humanoid robot company and a benchmark enterprise in domestic intelligent service robots, UBTECH has profound technological accumulation and rich industrialization experience in the fields of embodied intelligence, humanoid robot body R&D, intelligent control, and human-computer interaction. As of the first half of 2026, the company held a total of 3,112 authorized patents.

TEDA has long cultivated the intelligent technology industry and has now gathered a batch of leading enterprises in specialized fields such as Deepinfar, Atomrobot, Lonyu, and Wybotics, with the size of industries related to embodied intelligence reaching nearly RMB 13 billion.
