Reach Surgical Full-Chain Intelligent Manufacturing Collaborative Development Industrial Project Lands in TEDA

On September 9, the TEDA Administrative Commission signed a memorandum of cooperation with Tianjin Reach Surgical Co., Ltd., marking the official landing of the Reach Surgical Full-Chain Intelligent Manufacturing Collaborative Development Industrial Project in TEDA. With an investment of hundreds of millions of yuan, the project is dedicated to make technology breakthroughs and iterative upgrades of endoscopic surgical staplers and energy instruments, making an intelligent manufacturing R&D and production base to form a full-chain operational capability encompassing high-end medical device component processing, independent R&D, production, sterilization, and market sales. Upon completion, the project will further complement and strengthen the industrial chain in TEDA's biopharmaceutical sector, effectively enhancing the region's industrial capacity in high-end medical devices.

Established in TEDA in August 2009, Tianjin Reach Surgical Co., Ltd. is one of the earliest domestic enterprises engaged in the R&D and production of endoscopic surgical staplers and energy surgical instruments. It has now grown into a prominent domestic brand in high-end medical devices. Honored as a national high-tech enterprise and a national SRDI "Little Giant" enterprise, the Company has successfully developed multiple products with independent intellectual property rights. Its overall product technology has reached an international advanced level, ranking first in market share among domestic stapler manufacturers in China.

As a core carrier of Tianjin's biopharmaceutical industry, TEDA maintains strong development momentum in its healthcare sector. In 2025, the output value of TEDA's healthcare industry reached RMB 80.93 billion, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%, making it a crucial growth driver for high-quality regional development.
