09-15-2026

On September 11, at the Nankai University Optoelectronic Information Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum, TEDA signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the College of Electronic Information and Optical Engineering, Nankai University. This collaboration is yet another pragmatic measure for TEDA to deepen institute-locality synergy and promote the deep integration of the innovation chain with the industrial chain. According to the agreement, the two sides will focus on key optoelectronic information tracks, deepen precise industry-university-research matching, and collaboratively promote the transfer, transformation, and industrialization of cutting-edge scientific research achievements from universities, jointly empowering the innovation and upgrading of the optoelectronic hard-tech industry.

At the forum, a relevant official from TEDA provided a comprehensive introduction to the layout of TEDA's electronic information industry, its industrial ecosystem, and its advantages in scientific and technological innovation support, and cordially invited high-quality projects and entrepreneurial teams in the optoelectronic information field to land in TEDA. Multiple cutting-edge hard-tech projects from the College of Electronic Information and Optical Engineering, Nankai University, presented roadshows, covering fields such as industrial intelligent vision, high-end optoelectronic testing equipment, and intelligent sensing. These projects highly align with TEDA's strategic emerging industry layout, building a reserve of high-quality project resources for subsequent in-depth cooperation between the two sides.
