Revenue of the Core Industries in TEDA’s Digital Economy Exceeds ￥150 bln

In 2021, the operating income of the core industries of digital economy in TEDA exceeded 150 billion yuan, and remarkable achievements were made in the growth of digital economy. So far, there have been more than 4,000 enterprises in this sector in the whole region, basically covering all the medium-sized fields such as digital product manufacturing, digital product service, digital technology application and digital factor driving.

In recent years, TEDA has empowered industrial development through digital platforms, and the application scenarios of digital economy have been continuously expanded. Supported by scientific and technological innovation platforms such as the National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin, TEDA Digital Economy Industrial Park has been built, forming a complete intelligent technology digital economy industrial chain of “supercomputing-big data-intelligent application”. The layout of data infrastructure platforms such as Tencent Data Center has spawned a number of “digital twin+industry” applications. With the introduction of industrial Internet and digital transformation platforms such as CAXA, successful cases of digital transformation such as Novo Nordisk, SEW and FAW-Volkswagen have emerged. TEDA has exerted the demonstration effect of the first batch of 5G field trials core area of China, actively expanded the application of 5G technology in industrial control, telemedicine and smart cities, and initially formed an information infrastructure system adapted to the integration and development of digital economy and real economy.
