2022 TEDA Auto Forum Opens

On September 3^rd, the 2022 International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development (IFCAID) opens in TEDA. Under the annual theme of “Reaffirm Our Belief, Facilitate Growth and Forge Ahead”, the Forum is an all-round communication platform involving participants from fields of politics, industry, learning, research and application, which gathers and inspires suggestions and insights for the industry’s sustainable and quality-oriented growth. There are 19 meetings including theme forums, market forums and VIP international summits between September 2^nd and 4^th, meanwhile, the achievement of Implementation Roadmap of Automobile Industry for Carbon Neutralization Goal and TEDA Consensus are also released.

Established in 2005, IFCAID, named as “Davos of Auto Industry”, has developed into the wind vanes for the industry for 17 years in a row. The auto industry in Tianjin grew robustly, and TEDA is renowned for the industry. TEDA’s vehicle output accounts for 99.9% of that of Tianjin. In 2021, 942,000 vehicles rolled off production lines from TEDA, accounting for 99.9% of Tianjin’s vehicle output, with a total output value of 141.55 billion yuan. This is the reason TEDA is the permanent venue of the event.
