Otis Ranks on Forbes World’s Best Employers 2022

Recently, Forbes released the World’s Best Employers 2022, and Otis was on the list. The list aims to recognize enterprises that excel in influence, corporate image, talent development, social responsibility and diversity and inclusiveness. 150,000 employees of multinational companies and organizations were surveyed anonymously, and only the companies with the highest scores should be selected. As a leading global manufacturer, installer and service provider of elevators and escalators, Otis has invested in several companies in TEDA since 1998 and it continues to enhance its strategic position in Asia and around the world.

Otis’ TEDA base was up and running in July 2007. The base has the world’s most advanced machine-room-less technology, permanent magnet gearless technology and high-speed elevator product development, manufacturing and testing capabilities. It is the only Otis base in the world with high-speed elevator manufacturing qualifications and capabilities, as well as Otis’ largest steel band mainframe manufacturing base in the world. In September 2021, Otis’ first intelligent elevator testing center in China, Zhong’ao Intelligent Technology Development Co.,Ltd., was established in TEDA. It is also the only third-party elevator testing company in China that is wholly owned by an elevator manufacturer.
