China Auto Finance Industry Summit Held in TEDA

On March 16, 2022 China Auto Finance Industry Summit was successfully held in TEDA. The theme of the forum was “Building Momentum and Breaking the Game – In Search for New Opportunities for China’s Auto Finance”. This is also the first annual summit in the field of auto finance in 2023. The summit focuses on some hot topics including auto and auto finance market, used car finance, NEV finance, auto finance leasing, etc. More than 600 people, including government officials, industry experts and top executives of enterprises, were invited to share their experiences and provide solutions for auto finance breakthroughs in a new pattern. The summit released the “2022 China Auto Finance Industry Development Report” and “2022 China Auto Financial Services Consumer Satisfaction Ranking”, and launched the “Auto Finance Industry Consumer Protection Initiative Convention” to help building a healthy future for the auto finance industry.

The auto industry is one of the pillar industries in TEDA, which brings together three leading enterprises of FAW Toyota, FAW Volkswagen and Great Wall Motor, as well as more than 200 enterprises in auto parts and service industries. For years, TEDA has reinforced the growth concept of “industry + finance”, explored the development of industrial finance mode with industry characteristics, and created an auto service industry ecosystem with auto finance as the main focus. So far, OEMs such as SAIC, Geely, Great Wall, auto logistics enterprises such as Lionbridge, S.F.Express, Transfar, and third-party service organizations such as Guazi and Dasouche, car dealers such as Changjiu Group and Hotong Motor, have successively established financial and service institutions in TEDA.
