Mars’ Largest Pet Food Plant in Asia Makes New Progress

Recently, the first phase of the Mars Pet Food Tianjin Plant successfully passed its planning acceptance, forming a solid foundation for production. The project, located in the Nangang Industrial Zone of TEDA, covers an area of approximately 110,000 square meters and has a maximum annual production capacity of over 250,000 tons, making it Mars’ largest modernized pet food factory in Asia. This is also Mars’ third pet food factory built in China, and it will be the first to achieve intelligent and green production in the pet food industry.

Since the inception of the project, staff members of the Nangang Industrial Zone have conducted numerous on-site inspections, closely monitoring progress and expeditiously resolving concerns raised by the involved enterprise. Thanks to their efforts, Mars were able to smoothly complete the planning acceptance process.
