Shiji Kangtai Officially Launches Second Phase Project Construction

Recently, the second phase industrialization project of Tianjin Shiji Kangtai Biomedical Engineering Co., Ltd. was launched in TEDA West. The project, with an investment of 100 million yuan, mainly produces various artificial intraocular lenses, raw material incipient crystal, rigid contact lenses, and collagen adhesive dressings. It is scheduled to be completed and put into production by the end of 2023, with an annual output value of up to 300 million yuan after production.

Shiji Kangtai Biomedical Engineering Co., Ltd. settled in TEDA West in 2008. It is a leading enterprise in the field of high-end ophthalmic medical devices of Class III, integrating research and development, production and sales, and is a national high-tech enterprise. The company has laid out more than 20 products in two main business segments: domestic high-end ophthalmic medical devices and collagen patches. The edge-enhanced zero spherical aberration and hollow hem design of its artificial intraocular lens are all the first in China.
