EU Chamber of Commerce in China Holds ESG Theme Seminar in TEDA

On July 5th, the seminar named ESG in Finance and Taxation, organized by the Tianjin Chapter of the EU Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), was held in the Yuxiang Area of TEDA. The event featured keynote speeches and sharing of experiences by Deloitte experts from Beijing, aiming to enhance and deepen the ESG (initials for Environmental, Social and Governance) practices of enterprises in TEDA. Several local companies and industry associations within the TEDA area, including Southern Power Grid Integrated Energy Co., Ltd., The Executive Centre, and Tianjin Association for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, participated in the event. Following the forum, the Tianjin Chapter of the EU Chamber of Commerce engaged in in-depth discussions with TEDA on subsequent cooperation regarding foreign investment attraction and event hosting.

Established in 2000, the EU Chamber of Commerce in China is committed to promoting the development and growth of foreign enterprises in the Chinese market and providing them with efficient communication and exchange platforms. The head of the chamber stated that choosing the Yuxiang Area of TEDA as the venue for the ESG-themed event aims to deepen the cooperation between the chamber and TEDA, and to support the improvement of ESG performance among foreign enterprises in Tianjin.
