A TEDA Enterprise Wins International Prestigious Financial Industry Award

Recently, the Global SME Finance Awards 2023 were officially announced. Kincheng Bank of Tianjin Co., Ltd., an enterprise in TEDA, has been presented with an “Honorable Mention in the SME Financier of the Year - Asia” for its achievements in digital risk control capabilities and digital services to the real economy. It becomes the third digital bank in China to receive this prestigious recognition. The Global SME Finance Awards competition were established by the SME Finance Forum and the G20 Global Partnership for Financial Inclusion. The judging panel consists of World Bank experts and leaders from multinational banks. The awards are based on four dimensions: Coverage, Uniqueness and Innovation, Effectiveness and Impact, and Foresight and Scalability, with winners selected in four major categories, including the SME Financier of the Year. It is one of the most authoritative financial industry awards globally.

Kincheng Bank is one of the first five private banks approved by the Chinese government in 2015. In the past three years, it has completed its digitization and upgrade, establishing independent digital risk control capabilities and digital technology strength. It has provided efficient, secure, and convenient digital finance services to over 20 million consumers and reached out to more than 1.6 million small and medium-sized enterprises, providing them with over 150 billion yuan in cumulative credit services.
