TEDA Sees Group Signing of Multiple Green Projects

On December 21, during the 2023 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Low-Carbon Innovative Development Forum and the Conference on Zero Carbon Smart Park Construction, TEDA’s Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park and others signed cooperation agreements with State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company’s Dual Carbon Operation and Management Subsidiary. This collaboration aims to jointly promote the construction of the State Grid Tianjin Zero Carbon Smart Park and engage in comprehensive cooperation in low-carbon path planning, clean energy utilization, smart operation & management, as well as the development of the electricity-carbon market. Simultaneously, Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park and Tianjin Zhongguancun Science Park Operation Service Co., Ltd., signed investment cooperation agreements with Randys, Handerson Environmental Technology, and Polaris Power Grid. The agreements involve collaboration in environmental protection equipment, low-carbon technology, and dual-carbon talent training.

Over the years, TEDA has actively promoted regional green and low-carbon development. It is expected that by 2025, TEDA will have 100 honored green manufacturing enterprises and a green industry revenue of up to 120 billion yuan. In the process of promoting green development, Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park has provided multiple supports in areas such as policies, finance, and industry for green and low-carbon new energy enterprises. In the financial sector, the park, in collaboration with Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and China Construction Bank, has launched over ten financial products tailored to technological innovation-based low-carbon enterprises.
