Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park Embarks on a New Chapter of Development

On January 17, the theme event “Remembering Entrusted Missions, Continuing the Splendid Chapter” was successfully held in Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park in TEDA. During the event, the collaborative innovation community of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region—the Tianjin Binhai-Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Service Center was officially launched. The Innovation-Driven Alliance for Industry, Academia, and Research in Binhai City Sci-Tech Innovation Zone, as well as Tianjin Zhongguancun Industrial Development Co., Ltd., were officially established. Ten high-quality technology enterprises collectively signed contracts and settled in, injecting strong momentum into the development of Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park.

The Tianjin Binhai-Zhongguancun Collaborative Innovation Service Center will actively explore strengthening the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, enhancing industrial investment guidance, improving technology financial services, and building a standardized intellectual property service system. The center aims to create a high-quality professional science and technology innovation service platform. Currently, it has attracted the participation of the first batch of 14 service institutions, including the China Technology Exchange, Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, and Beijing Zhongguancun Capital Fund Management Co., Ltd.

The member units of the Innovation-Driven Alliance for Industry, Academia, and Research in Binhai City Sci-Tech Innovation Zone cover various types of universities and research institutes in fields such as biomedicine, synthetic biology, energy conservation & low-carbon, petroleum and petrochemicals, and biological fermentation. The alliance aims to leverage the advantages of universities and research institutions in technology commercialization and consulting agencies in industrial consulting to empower the high-quality development of Binhai City Science and Technology Innovation Zone.

Tianjin Zhongguancun Industrial Development Co., Ltd. will focus on the development mainline of “Innovation + Cultivation + Industrialization.” It aims to create a core platform for deepening cooperation between Beijing and Tianjin, TEDA and Zhongguancun Development Group. It will also undertake business related to the development, construction, and operation services of the M0 new industrial land in Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park.
