TEDA Saw Groundbreaking for GreenPine Pharma Intelligent Drug Factory Project (Phase I)

TEDA West saw the groundbreaking ceremony for the GreenPine (Tianjin) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Intelligent Drug Factory Project (Phase I) on 16 June. The first of two phases, involving the construction of an intelligent factory for high quality carbapenem preparations, with a total investment of 788 million yuan, will make it China’s first full-category carbapenem R&D and production base upon completion. An intelligent linked production line for dual-chamber powder-liquid bags will be established, with an estimated annual output of 10 million bags. Once completed, the first phase will become the largest production base for ready-to-use dual-chamber powder-liquid bags in north China. The bases will significantly fill the gap in domestic production process and technology for this category of products. The second phase of the project is also actively being prepared.
