First AI-powered Industrialization Summit Held in TEDA

The inaugural Artificial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialization Summit was held in TEDA on June 19th, as part of the 2024 World Intelligence Expo.

Hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the event received strong support and assistance from TEDA Administrative Commission, China National Machinery Industry Corporation (SINOMACH), and SINOMACH Digital Technology Co., Ltd. The event attracted over 300 artificial intelligence and equipment manufacturing enterprises and institutions, including the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Alibaba Cloud, China Electronics Corporation, iFlytek, National SuperComputer Center in Tianjin, China Telecom, Baidu, JD, and Sinomach.

A total of 23 high-quality industry reports were presented at the conference, featuring the practical work of equipment manufacturers as well as expert insights from the AI field. Key topics included innovative AI applications, integration of AI with equipment manufacturing, core technology R&D, expansion of industrial application scenarios, construction of industrial ecosystems, and corporate technological innovation, which provide intellectual support for accelerating the development of new industrialization through AI.

TEDA, recognized as one of China’s premier development zones, boasts a robust industrial foundation. It has been designated as a national demonstration base for new industrialization in sectors such as automobiles, electronics and information, petrochemicals, and biomedicine. TEDA is pioneering smart factory-led, intelligent equipment-based, big data and cloud computing-supported, and smart logistics-promoted comprehensive process intelligence production and multi-industry coordinated development.

TEDA now hosts over 100 AI enterprises, laying the groundwork for a complete industry chain encompassing computing intelligence, cognitive perception intelligence, and application intelligence across domains such as smart hardware, smart sensors, image and video recognition, and smart drones.
