Lohmann Solar Power Project Completed

Lohmann Adhesive Tape Technologies (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. in TEDA has completed its solar power project and started operation. This marks a milestone for Lohmann Adhesive Tape Tianjin Factory in energy conservation, carbon reduction, and sustainable development.

Solar energy, as a clean and renewable energy, has the advantage of not producing pollution, greenhouse gases, or carbon compounds. By installing solar panels on the factory’s rooftops, Lohmann Adhesive Tape Tianjin Factory converts solar energy into renewable energy, providing 40% of the factory’s electricity and reducing its reliance on traditional fuels. The factory’s annual carbon emissions will be reduced by 25%, equivalent to a reduction of 765 tons of carbon dioxide per year. This will further create a green and clean production environment.

With 173 years of experience in the adhesive market, Lohmann Group has developed 29 international institutions and sole sales partners in over 50 countries. It is reported that Lohmann China plans to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030, to fully support Lohmann Group’s goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
