New Otis Gen360® Smart Elevators: First Batch Rolled Out in TEDA

The first batch of Otis Gen360® smart digital elevators was rolled out and dispatched from TEDA Manufacturing Base. This new type of smart elevator incorporates features Otis’s core principles of intelligence, safety, low carbon, and comfort, to offer an enhanced experience for users.

Since establishing a presence in TEDA in 1998, Otis has founded 4 companies in the area: Otis Elevator (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Otis Elevator (China) Co., Ltd., Otis Elevator Traction Machine (China) Co., Ltd., and China-Otis Smart Technology Development Co., Ltd. Among these, Otis Elevator (China) Investment Co., Ltd. serves as the investment headquarters for Otis in China. Leveraging TEDA Manufacturing Base, Otis established its North R&D Center in TEDA in October 2023. The center aims to bring research and development closer to manufacturing, accelerate new product development, and facilitate quicker market entry for new technologies.
