Vitesco Tianjin Plant Begins Mass Production of SiC Power Modules
Vitesco Technologies commenced the first batch production of silicon carbide (SiC) power modules at its Tianjin plant. As a key component in the electrical sector, these high-efficiency power modules are equipped with silicon carbide semiconductors, capable of reducing the charging time and extending the driving range of electric vehicles. Located in TEDA, the Tianjin plant serves as Vitesco Technologies’ manufacturing hub for power modules in Asia and is the first plant to launch mass production of SiC power modules.
