TEDA-based I-KingTec Wins International Design Award
TEDA-based i-KingTec won a gold medal for its Fully Autonomous Drone Inspection System, the “Lotus Lantern” of the “Saint Series”, in the recently announced annul results of the 2024 MUSE Design Awards. The MUSE Design Awards, established by the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) and the International Awards Associate (IAA), is one of the most influential international awards for original design work from across the globe. MUSE is known for its rigorous judging system and high quality standards, often referred to as the “Oscar of Design”.
Established in 2018, the “Garden of Clouds” Design Center of i-KingTec was recognized as a National Industrial Design Center in 2023. The center has designed multiple market-recognized products, including the “Tiger Series” and “Saint Series”, which have won over 20 national and international industrial design awards, such as the China Excellent Industrial Design, the Red Dot Design, the European Good Design, and the Contemporary Good Design. In December 2023, the “Lotus Lantern” Fully Autonomous Drone Inspection System won the China Design Intelligence Award, standing out among more than 7,000 entries from 41 countries and regions in the world.
