Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Association Representative Office Cluster Established in TEDA
Recently, an exchange seminar for the establishment of Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Association Representative Office Cluster was held in TEDA Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park. The seminar attracted more than 10 overseas Chinese science and technology associations. During the seminar, China Center for International Science and Technology Exchange signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Tianjin Association for Science and Technology, Tianjin Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and TEDA Administrative Commission to jointly build the Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Association Representative Office Cluster (Tianjin). This marked the official establishment of the cluster in TEDA Binhai-Zhongguancun Science Park.
The representative office cluster is a key component of the China Association for Science and Technology’s initiative to support the return of overseas talent and intellectual resources. Once operational, the cluster will leverage the policy advantages of offshore bases and free trade zone-linked innovation demonstration bases, as well as TEDA’s strong industrial foundation and robust innovation ecosystem. Through policy innovation, integrated services, and demand-supply alignment, it will effectively facilitate international academic exchanges, technological cooperation, the introduction of overseas talent, technology transfer, and enterprise incubation. This will provide intellectual and talent support for the development of TEDA and Tianjin.
