TI Automotive Tianjin’s New Product Begins Production
TEDA-based TI Automotive (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. recently began production of TI Fluid Systems’ newly developed 12V Electric Coolant Pump (eCP) for next-generation battery electric vehicles (BEVs). This marks the rollout of the globally first fully automated eCP production line of TI Fluid Systems. The production line is equipped with a highly flexible and scalable assembly system, along with advanced automated manufacturing processes. By utilizing full-process simulation and virtual debugging, the production team can precisely optimize line performance before deployment. This innovative approach not only meets the stringent quality requirements of global OEMs but also adapts flexibly to the demands of the Chinese market.
James Bao, Global Vice President and President China at TI Fluid Systems, said, this rollout marks a crucial step in our deep integration into China’s electric vehicle industry.” TI Fluid Systems will further shorten delivery cycles and reduce logistics costs with the support of its TEDA-based factory.
TI Fluid Systems is the world’s only fully integrated supplier of fuel storage and delivery systems for both passenger cars and trucks. It has established a wholly owned subsidiary, TI Automotive (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., in TEDA. TI Automotive Tianjin Company has an annual production capacity of 1.8 million automotive fuel tanks and 1.5 million fuel pumps. The company provides products for Beijing Benz, Tianjin FAW Toyota, BMW Brilliance, GAC Toyota, Great Wall Motors, Dongfeng Nissan, Guangzhou Peugeot, Geely, and many others clients.
