National SuperComputer Center Tianhe Simulation Cloud Platform 3.0 Launched
The National SuperComputer Center Tianhe Simulation Cloud Platform 3.0 was officially launched and started to operate quite recently. Tianhe Simulation Cloud Platform is a public platform for simulation services, integrating high-performance computing and visual analysis and processing. It mainly serves the fields of high-end equipment manufacturing, automotive industry, ocean engineering, aerospace, energy and chemical industry, civil engineering, etc. Since its launch, the platform has served over 100 enterprises above designated size accumulatively.
The National SuperComputer Center in Tianjin is the first national supercomputer center in China. There are Tianhe-1 supercomputer ranked first in the world’s top 500 supercomputers and Tianhe-3 prototype computer system. Since its settlement in TEDA, backed by “Tianhe”, the Center has built an information technology innovation and entrepreneurship base and an industrial cluster integrating military and civilian. It will also build a digital industrial park in the future to promote the development of domestic industrial software, artificial intelligence and big data.
