TEDA Builds Model for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cross-Regional Cooperation

Over the past decade of coordinated development in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, TEDA has continued to play a leading role among its peers in the region. It has further improved the efficiency of handling cross-regional affairs for enterprises and the public, continuously optimized its business environment, and established a model for cross-regional cooperation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

TEDA has constructed mechanisms and platforms for coordinative innovation across the whole region. Focusing on the core responsibilities of national-level economic development zones in economic growth and enterprise services, TEDA has introduced normalized cooperation mechanisms such as joint construction and sharing in industrial collaboration, as well as cross-regional government services. Utilizing the “Internet+” approach, TEDA has enhanced quality and efficiency in government services across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

TEDA has promoted inter-provincial government services and standards across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. As of now, 203 administrative affairs in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei FTZs have adopted consistent standards, and 162 government services can be handled across the region.

Since 2022, more than 250 innovative measures have been introduced for government services and business environment reforms in the national-level development zones of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. TEDA has implemented ten actions to optimize the business environment. Achievements have been made under initiatives such as “land acquisition leads to immediate construction”.
