2024 China Auto Import and Export Forum Held in TEDA

The 2024 China Auto Import and Export Forum was successfully held in the Yuxiang Area of TEDA from March 25th to March 26th. With the theme “Building a New Ecology with Intelligence and Creating a New Future Together”, the forum attracted more than 800 guests from government, foreign embassies in China, automobile industry associations and dealership corporates from home and abroad, OEMs, used car dealers, and automotive certification institutions. The forum aimed to build an international exchange platform for the automobile industry that emphasizes high-quality imports and exports, enhance the resource linkage effect between the domestic and international markets, optimize production capacity structure, and share global cooperation opportunities.

The forum focused on over ten major topics related to automobile import and export, including interpreting policies supporting automobile exports, overseas expansion of new energy vehicles, and regional market development. It aimed to provide guiding opinions for Chinese automotive companies to better expand overseas markets. The forum released the 2024 China Auto Import and Export Industry Development Report. The China Auto Export International Marketing Service Platform, Vehilink, was officially launched during the forum. Through this platform, domestic auto enterprises can directly supply to overseas markets.

Moreover, the forum facilitated the implementation of multiple business cooperation. It created more elements and possibilities in deepening cooperation between government and enterprises, promoting business collaboration, and exploring overseas markets.
