North China Core Cloud Computing Base of Kingsoft Cloud to Be Built in TEDA

The first phase of the cloud computing data center of Kingsoft Cloud in Yat-sen Scientific Industrial Park has been launched officially, which is expected to be the core cloud computing base of Kingsoft Cloud in North China. The preparation such as encampment construction has been made and is planned to be put into production in the second half.

Kingsoft Cloud is a well-known cloud computing service provider in China, with data centers and operating agencies in many countries and regions. As an independent cloud service provider, the company was listed on NASDAQ in May 2020, with the highest valuation so far in China.

The cloud computing and industrial Internet industry has grown in TEDA in recent years, gathering a number of leading enterprises and institutions such as Hongfujin, National Supercomputer Center in Tianjin and Tencent Tianjin Data Center. The construction of Kingsoft Cloud Data Center will further expand TEDA’s cloud computing industry chain.
